Associate/ Senior P r o j e c t  A r c h i t e c t

 

As a Senior Project Architect with Marasco & Associates, Mr. Vondal is a registered architect specializing in medical architecture.  He facilitates the design process from Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Document production. Reviews and works with local, state, and federal affiliates to assure the projects are to meet all applicable code, regulations, and standards. He also performs the Construction Administration services during the construction of the project to assure the original design intent is by the contractor.  Mr. Vondal works closely with the Civil, Landscape Architects, Structural, Interior Design, and MEP Consultants to coordinate the design and incorporates the consultant’s drawings into the construction documents for the project.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documentation.

  • Researches and Evaluates Local, State, and Federal Codes and Standards.

  • Performs Consultant Drawing Coordination and Quality Control.

  • Provides Construction Administration Services.

  • On-Site Observation

  • Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating Technology, North Dakota State College of Science.

  • Bachelor of Architecture, North Dakota State University

 

Continuing Education

  • Attends in excess of 24 hours of CE training courses per year, emphasizing the following:

  • New Product Specifications and construction techniques.

  • Healthcare specific product specifications

  • Evidence Based Design Principals

  • Sustainable Design Principals including the new Credential Maintenance Program requirements for LEED Certification.
